Ian Kerner, Ph.D., LMFT is a nationally recognized psychotherapist and author specializing in couples therapy. He is regularly quoted as an expert in various media, with recent features in The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Economist, and NPR amongst others. Ian contributes regularly to the topic of relationships for CNN Health. He recently returned from presenting in-person at TED 2021 and other recent presentations include the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium, the Ackerman Institute, the Tony Robbins Institute, and Goop. Ian is the New York Times best-selling author of She Comes First (Harper Collins) which has been translated into more than a dozen languages and remains a seminal book in the field. His new book So Tell Me About the Last Time You Had Sex was recently published by Hachette. In addition to being a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), Ian is certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists and is also a member of the American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA) and the Society for Sex Therapy and Research. He is the co-founder and Director of the Sex Therapy program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, one of New York’s oldest and most respected not-for-profit psychoanalytic institutes.

Eric Rosenblum started as a student leader in the first-ever cohort for NYMFTN’s Student Leadership Initiative launched in 2021. Eric Rosenblum is studying for an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercy College. He expects to graduate in May of 2021. Eric is also a writer and an adjunct associate professor of writing at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. His writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Playboy.com, Guernica Magazine, and many other publications. As a therapist-in-training, Eric is particularly interested in sex therapy, narrative therapy, and IFS.
